This lovely little barbotine bowl, measuring 9 cm in diameter, is a classic piece of French faience from Saint-Clément.
The bowl is hand-painted in shades of pink and yellow and shaped like a beautiful, open wild rose with delicate details in the center.
Originally, these small bowls from the mid-20th century were often made as ashtrays or for holding butter and salt on the dinner table. They’re perfect for jewelry or other small trinkets.
