Beautiful French butter dish made of light-glazed stoneware with a dark blue stencil stamp reading "LA MÉNAGÈRE – BTÉ S.G.D.G.".
The jar has the original size marking on the bottom (1/4 liter) and the distinctive collar at the top, where the lid originally rested.
