Jardinière from U & C Sarreguemines - black Victorian floral motif, circa 1870
Beautiful antique jardinière from U & C Sarreguemines, dated to around 1870 based on the stamp and workmanship. This decorative jug is made of earthenware with a classic black Victorian floral motif, which bears witness to the elegant design traditions of the time.
Despite its age of more than 150 years, the jardiniere is in excellent condition - with no cracks or chips and only minimal natural faience aging that supports its authentic patina.
With its height of 14 cm and diameter of 13.5 cm, it is perfect as a collector's item, but it can also be used as a decorative element in the home - for flowers, green branches or as a centerpiece on a table.
