French vintage rillettes jar – “Rillettes de Tours”
Authentic French charcuterie jar from Tours in the Loire Valley, stamped "Les Ets Barbier Frères – Céramique – Tours." Originally used to sell the region’s famous rillettes—a classic specialty that has made the city famous throughout France.
The jar is made of sturdy, ribbed earthenware with black lettering and an original lid with a knob. Its simple shape and graphic text give it a beautiful, period-appropriate look from the interwar years. The glaze has a warm tone with a light patina, reflecting its age and use.
