Ravier - Luneville, Mauresque model
A beautiful antique French ravier from Luneville, Keller & Guérin, featuring the Mauresque design. The delicate red ornamentation is inspired by Moorish arabesques and was extremely popular around the turn of the century, when exotic and historical patterns characterized the ceramics of the time.
The slight cracking in the glaze and the small signs of age attest to a piece steeped in history and authenticity. An evocative piece of French ceramics with more than a hint of the Belle Époque.
