Antique ravier from the Faïencerie de Castres
A beautiful, wideravieroriginating from the faience production in Castres in southern France. It’s not often that we come across faience from there, and this piece dates back to the period 1880–1920. They closed their factory in 1936.
The model is called Roumanie.
The pattern is created using a delicate, detailed printing technique and features romantic roses and an ornate floral border in a deep bluish shade.

- Condition: Really good vintage condition with a small chip on the bottom and a very small hairline crack on the inside. Of course, it shows some signs of age and has a patina.
