Oxo bouillon cup - 9 cm
Charming and rare bouillon cup with green lettering that reads Bouillon OXO on one side and Compagnie Liebig on the other. The cup is a piece of advertising history from the mid-1900s, when OXO was marketed as both bouillon cube and drinking bouillon throughout Europe.
This cup measures 9 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter - a classic size for broth or soup. It is made of white earthenware with the characteristic green text that gives it its authentic vintage look.
Oxo cups were mainly used in cafés, canteens and private homes as part of the way broth was served at the time - simple, nutritious and with a clear advertising value. Today, they have become coveted collectors' items with both decorative and historical value.
