Founded in 1943 in Morbihan, Brittany, Faïencerie de Saint-Jean de Bretagne is particularly famous for their hand-painted motifs inspired by the traditions of the region - often with geometric patterns, arabesques and strong color combinations. This plate is a fine example of the artistic craftsmanship for which the factory became known.
