Exclusive special edition from Le Grand Dépôt
Incredibly beautiful and rare plates from around 1900. The plates are decorated with the finest, most detailed botanical motif of gooseberries in a bluish shade.
The design is remarkably similar to the Sarreguemines "Groseilles" model, but this version is different in that it is a special order made exclusively for Le Grand Dépôt (Émile Bourgeois) in Paris. A model designed for the absolute upper class of the time.
They feature just the right, beautiful crackle pattern in the glaze and a subtle patina (a slight darkening of the glaze in certain areas), which only adds to their charm and bears witness to over 100 years of history.
None of the plates have cracks or chips.
