Rare bowl from Digoin - 14.5 cm

A rare and well-preserved French bowl from Digoin, stamped Porcelaine Opaque. This type of faience was produced in the late 1800s as a strong and beautiful alternative to porcelain and is highly prized by collectors today.

The bolo has an elegant green and gold pattern combined with small hand-painted turquoise dots - a testament to the attention to detail and craftsmanship of the time. With its history and aesthetics, it works both as a unique utility item and as a decorative element in the home.

Despite its age, it is in excellent condition, with no significant chips or cracks - a rarity for a piece of faience that is over 120 years old.
